We are seeking a Driver CDL-Class A or B with passenger endorsement to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating bus or van with passengers to and from their home and to appointments.
Responsibilities:
- The Driver is responsible for assisting and safely transporting participants to and from the center and their residence.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the routes used in transporting clients and of the roadways in the client service area.
- Safe assistance and transportation of clients
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to Administrative Office
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Daily cleaning of interior of the vehicle
- Handling of emergencies en-route until emergency assistance arrives at vehicle
- Responsible handling of participant's personal belongings and medications
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma and a New Jersey State driver's license with no more than 3 points on driving record.
- Must provide STARS with DMV Abstract.
- Prior experience in transportation of the elderly and/or physically/mentally challenged persons preferred.
