Job Information:

The Per Diem Administrative Nursing Supervisor will handle covering holds in the ED and other inpatient areas. It will cover for Nursing Leadership on inpatient units as needed.

Minimum (2) eight hours shifts a week - potentially more; 7AM start time - flexibility needed based on unit needs.

1 year of recent Nursing Leadership experience preferred.

Summary:

Responsible for the general supervision of the Nursing Department and assumes administrative responsibilities for the hospital during non-business hours.

Position Responsibilities:

Assumes administrative responsibility during non-business hours for entire hospital and communicates appropriate information in a timely manner.

Assumes general supervision of nursing department during non-business hours.

Assures adequate staffing in nursing department.

Responds to customer complaints.

Communicates expectations re: care standards.

Manages crisis and emergency situations.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

2 years clinical experience.

2 years management experience preferred.

Required Education:

BSN or Bachelors preferred.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

NJ RN License.

BLS.

Hourly Rate: $64.90
