Packaging Operator

As a Packaging Operator, you will assist the Packaging Technician with all supporting functions related to operating the production line. This includes maintaining cleanliness, ensuring component traceability, clearing basic jams on the production line, and feeding materials as necessary. Additionally, you may operate an aerial lift, for which certification will be provided.

• Maintain housekeeping standards by following waste, scrap reduction, and recycling guidelines.
• Ensure component traceability throughout the production process.
• Clear basic jams on the production line and restart the machine.
• Feed the production line with necessary materials.
• Operate aerial lift when required (certification provided).

• Experience in packaging, production, labeling, packing, and assembly.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift.
• Capability to lift up to 25lbs frequently.
• Skill in reaching, bending, twisting, and turning during duties.

• Comfortable with climbing stairs and crossovers.
• Prepared to work in indoor environments with seasonably normal temperatures for factory/production operations.
• Adherence to PPE requirements at all times.

This role involves standing and walking throughout the shift and frequent lifting of up to 25lbs. You will perform tasks that require reaching, bending, twisting, and turning. Expect to climb stairs and crossovers regularly. The work is conducted indoors with seasonably normal temperatures typical of factory/production settings. Proper use of PPE is required at all times. The work schedule is a weekend PM shift from 7pm to 7:30am, Friday through Sunday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hillsborough, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
