We are looking for a Pool Attendant to join our team for the upcoming summer season.

Position is full time/seasonal. Weekends and holidays are a must. Pool hours are 7 am - 7 pm 7 days a week from Memorial Day weekend to Mid/late September.

A pool attendant's primary duties include maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the pool area, enforcing pool rules, assisting guests with pool equipment, monitoring for potential hazards, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons by providing excellent customer service; this often involves checking pool chemicals, cleaning the deck, and responding to any safety concerns that arise.

Key responsibilities of a pool attendant:

• Safety Monitoring:

  Actively observe pool activity to identify potential safety risks, enforce pool rules and regulations, and promptly address any issues that may arise.

• Pool Maintenance:

  Clean and maintain the pool deck, surrounding areas, changing rooms, and bathrooms.

• Guest Assistance:

  Provide assistance to guests with pool equipment like lounge chairs, umbrellas, and pool toys.

• Chemical Monitoring:

  Regularly test pool water chemistry and adjust chemicals as needed to maintain proper levels.

• Equipment Operation:

  Ensure proper functioning of pool equipment and report any maintenance concerns to the supervisor.

• Customer Service:

  Interact with guests in a friendly and helpful manner, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

• Emergency Response:

  Be prepared to respond to emergencies by implementing appropriate safety procedures and utilizing rescue equipment if necessary.

• Access Control:

  Monitor pool access and ensure only authorized individuals are using the facility.

• Reporting:

  Report any incidents, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
