What’s a typical day as Billing& Meter Clerk? You’ll be:

• Handling meter reading exceptions, including Hi and Low meter reading edits and other To Do’s generated by the CIS system
• Generating and completing work orders related to missed cycle reads, compliance issues, and other exceptions
• Distributing billing schedules for monthly customer service reports and liaising with management and IT to ensure accurate meter reading schedules
• Maintaining and distributing non-compliance lists, coordinating with the manager client liaison for penalty assessments, and preparing violation letters
• Managing special projects assigned by management, handling customer service inquiries, and maintaining the service order calendar
• Validating new service processes, ensuring data accuracy, and completing work orders in the CIS system
• Coordinating with external agencies for new application information and updating account information for billing
• Manually entering additional field reads and responding to inquiries from both agency partners and customers
• Receiving and updating tax information from the local tax department into the CC B system

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Are capable of quickly learning and utilizing company software, such as CC B, PeopleSoft, and meter reading-specific systems (must-have)
• Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills (must-have)
• Have prior experience in billing, data entry, or utility customer service (preferred)
• Are able to communicate effectively with various departments and external partners (must-have)
• Can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
