Position : Windows Administrator

Location :: Onsite, Washington, DC

Duration : 12+Month

Responsibilities (At least 5. Please add more if you have them.)

1. Performs advanced Windows OS troubleshooting, patching, configuration, and performance tuning.

2. Administers endpoint protection tools (e.g., CrowdStrike), maintaining system security and compliance.

3. Manages VMware vSphere virtual infrastructure, including vCenter, vRealize Operations, and vRealize Automation.

4. Participates in the on-call rotation, providing production support for Windows and VMware environments, including weekend coverage.

5. Supports server consolidation and virtualization initiatives for hardware reduction and site migrations (V2V and P2V).

6. Conducts daily system log monitoring and investigation to proactively identify and remediate errors, warnings, or unusual activities.

7. Participates in SAFe Iteration and PI Planning activities to align with enterprise Agile practices.

8. Manages Windows workloads and services in public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and OCI.

9. Administers and supports Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and provides Azure Advisory services for resilience and optimization.

10. Oversees the management and support of Windows clusters hosting critical enterprise applications.

Requirements (At least 5. Please add more if you have them.)

1. 5 or more years of hands-on experience in Wintel Administration.

2. Experience in Intimacy with UNIX, Windows, and Linux hardware and software configurations

3. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently and under pressure.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5. Excellent analytical skills.

6. Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audience (management, users, vendor, and technical staff)

7. Excellent ability to work in a team environment and across organizational boundaries.

8. Excellent task planning and monitoring skills, including the development of standard operating procedures.
