As a Security Officer Alarm Monitor Patrol in Piscataway, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach, while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout building common areas, lobbies, corridors, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, check credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions, and report hazards, disturbances, and/or security-related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
