\n\n\n\nPosition Summary: Review and code patient records for both inpatients and outpatients. Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes. Verify CPT-4 codes, DRGs, and APCs.
\nExperience
\nPreferred: 1-3 years acute care coding
\n\n\n\n\nEducation
\nPreferred: Associates in Health Information Technology
\n\n\n\n\nLicense and Credentials
\nRequired: RHIA, or RHIT, or CCS, or CCA
\n\n\n\n\nSkills
\nRequired: Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, pathology of disease, ICD-10 CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4
\n\n\n\n\nBi-Weekly Hours: 80
\nWork Schedule: 8:30am - 5pm M-F
\n\n
The minimum starting rate for this position is $21.44
\nWhen determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
