FDA-Regulated Packaging Production Supervisor

Lead With Purpose on Our 2nd Shift

Imagine walking the floor as multiple pharmaceutical packaging lines come to life. Components are staged. Equipment checks pass. Your bilingual brief energizes a team of 150–300 people. You set the tone—safe, compliant, and efficient—so that patients ultimately receive quality products they can trust.

The Mission

Drive exceptional performance while protecting compliance. You’ll orchestrate people, processes, and equipment to deliver results every shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and coach a large packaging workforce to meet output and quality targets.
• Guardrail every activity with cGMP and regulatory compliance (FDA, OSHA, DEA).
• Command line start-ups, break schedules, and end-of-shift wrap-up to maximize uptime.
• Approve packaging orders and confirm all components are checked and released for use.
• Train new and existing staff on SOPs, equipment operation, and packaging requirements before each job.
• Ensure components are staged so production can begin without delays.
• Partner with QA to triage and resolve quality issues and sustain a proactive safety culture.
• Maintain immaculate lines, machinery, and tooling—clean, maintained, and ready.
• Collaborate with QA on batch record completion, execute line clearance, and reconcile excess components per lot.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in pharmaceutical packaging.
• Technical fluency with check weighers, fillers, labelers, cappers, and metal detectors.
• Bilingual English–Spanish strongly preferred.
• Capable of lifting at least 45 lbs; comfortable working in a noisy environment.
