OK4WD is an internationally recognized offroad and overland upfitter and retailer headquartered in Stewartsville, NJ. We're a passionate, hands-on shop specializing in offroad and overlanding builds. From suspension lifts to armor installs, rooftop tents to full custom setups, we help our customers get trail-ready and adventure-bound. Position Overview:
We're looking for a skilled Automotive Technician with a strong interest (or experience) in offroading and overlanding vehicles. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on 4x4s and wants to be part of a growing shop that builds rigs for serious adventure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install aftermarket parts: suspension systems, bumpers, winches, lighting, skid plates, armor, etc.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on 4x4 vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostic work.
- Wire auxiliary electrical components (lights, air systems, accessories).
- Collaborate with the team on custom builds and problem-solving.
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment .
Successful candidates will have:
- 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician (ASE cert a plus).
- Strong knowledge of 4WD systems, suspension geometry, and vehicle dynamics.
- Ability to read instructions, diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
- Rolling tool box with adequate tools.
- Self-starter work ethic with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Salary Range: $45,000-$65,000 based on experience
