Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Strong orthopedic experience - Ability to circulate in orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery - Experience with Epic charting system Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a surgical setting. This role involves circulating for orthopedic, spine, robotics, and general surgeries. Candidates must possess strong orthopedic experience. The Registered Nurse will work a four-day week with ten-hour shifts. The position requires the ability to handle various surgical procedures. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining patient safety and comfort. Required skills include wound management, infection control, and adherence to safety protocols. Experience with robotic surgical systems is beneficial. The ideal candidate should demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills. This position will involve working with diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Nurses should be prepared to manage a typical daily census between 15-18 patients.
