Our Engineering and Installation Department specializes in Design Build Applications from the simplest to the most complex including air conditioning, heating, piping and process systems guaranteed to meet your specifications.

We specialize in control systems including Building Automation, Process Chillers, and Cooling Towers for the Plastics Industry and specialty equipment such as Desiccant Dehumidifiers for the Food, Pharmaceutical and Process Industries, Humidification Systems and Data Center Cooling Equipment.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

G.E. Mechanical / PDM Group provides service 24/7, 365 days a year, including Holidays. After hours Emergency Service is addressed through our phone system which will put any customer in need of service directly in touch with an on-call Technician. PDM Group is reliable, and our work is trusted as we provide worry-free services our customers can always count on. The HVAC/R Service Technician's responsibility is to provide high-quality heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration services to commercial customers using expertise in HVAC systems and troubleshooting.

Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Responsibilities

Installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance services for commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems

Commercial/industrial customers include restaurant equipment, convenience stores, cold storage facilities, distribution companies, and super market refrigeration

Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems to including split systems, chillers, packaged units, oil- and gas-fired boilers and control systems

Food service preparation equipment

Ability to work with tablet-based service ticket software system for all HVAC/R work performed

Perform HVAC/R preventative maintenance service for contract customers

Ability to work overtime as needed and be part of a scheduled HVAC/R on-call rotation

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience

High School diploma or GED

3+ years of HVAC/R Service

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience

Commercial and residential air conditioning and gas/oil heat service experience

Commercial and/or residential HVAC replacement experience

Food service equipment experience

Understanding of control systems and wiring

EPA certification

Professional, ethical, and a team player willing to grow with the company
