We’re looking for a Human Resources Assistant who is organized, people focused, and ready to support a mission driven workplace. If you enjoy connecting with others, staying organized, and contributing to meaningful work, this role is for you.
About the Role
The Human Resources Assistant supports day to day HR operations and helps ensure employees, applicants, and visitors have a welcoming, professional experience. You’ll work closely with the HR Associate and Director of Administration to support recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration.
What You’ll Do
HR Support- Maintain employee records and HRIS updates
- File, scan, and organize confidential documents
- Track physicals, TB tests, and performance evaluations
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate interviews and candidate communication
- Assist with applicant screening
- Organize the bi-monthly New Hire Welcoming Luncheon Orientation
Employee Engagement
- Help plan staff events and engagement activities
- Support internal HR communications
Front Desk & Visitor Support
- Provide phone coverage and direct inquiries
- Welcome visitors and manage check ins
- Distribute radios, ID badges, and receive donations
- Conduct monthly credential checks for licensed staff
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
OR 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Collaborative, positive, and mission focused mindset
Compensation & Schedule
- $22.00/hour — Full-time, non exempt
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
