A tight-knit family in Clarke, NJ is seeking a nanny for their 3 girls ages 1, 4, and 7 years old.

Care will typically be Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Depending on the day, there could be occasional changes in school drop off and pick up times. Availability for occasional travel and weekend care is required.

Duties :

Helping with errands such as grocery shopping. Washing and folding the children’s laundry. Assisting with homework. Preparing meals. Tidying up after the children, including vacuuming. Sanitizing the children’s play areas. Organizing toys and craft supplies with the assistance of the children. Possibly helping to maintain the family calendar by scheduling activities, lessons, etc. Traveling with the family an average of 6 times per year for 3 to 9 days at a time. This will be for additional pay at a separate rate. Travel is typically within the USA but could be international.

Ideal nanny :

The ideal nanny for this family is creative, goal-oriented, and proactive. She will view herself as part of the family and share in the care, nurturing and protection of the children. Nanny needs to be willing to travel with the family. Looking for a professional with excellent communication skills who is willing to work as a team with the parents. The ideal nanny is organized, detail-oriented, and timely. She will come with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field, truly love working with children, and view childcare as a passion rather than just a job. This family’s ideal caregiver uses a firm, yet gentle and loving, approach with the children. Some college or experience in the education, nursing, or medical field is a plus.

About the children :

This 7-year-old is energetic, inquisitive, kind, honest, and brilliant. She loves people and is a confident and outspoken leader. Her strong will may seem like immaturity when she talks back or does not listen right away. Her after-school activities include swimming, speech, occupational therapy (no special needs). She also loves music, drawing, reading, and playing with her sisters.

This 4-year old is articulate, compassionate, loving, creative, and brilliant. She is fun-loving and sweet. She can be stubborn but responds well to encouragement and gentle, yet firm, prompting. She is sensitive and can be embarrassed easily, but she maintains confidence in who she is. Her favorite subject area is Language Arts. Her after-school activities are swimming and dancing. She loves reading, music, movies, dancing, and crafting.

This 1-year-old is a pleasant and easygoing baby who loves to learn and explore. She is cheerful, curious, gentle, brilliant, and playful. She loves music. She is a good sleeper and eater. She attends school every day from 9:30 am until 3:00 pm.

About the parents :

These parents are hands-on and devoted. They love to have fun and travel with their children. They enjoy music, laughter, and being silly. Mom is silly, kind, sensitive, emotional, and naturing. Dad is tender hearted, driven, conscientious, intelligent, and honest. They love to learn and grow in all areas of life. Love is central to all they do, and their faith is important to them.
