Our client is a data standards organization that brings industry communities together to solve supply chain problems through the adoption and implementation of their standards. More than 340,000 businesses across 25 industries in the U.S. rely on our client for trading partner collaboration and for maximizing the cost-effectiveness, speed, visibility, security, and sustainability of their business processes.

They enable these benefits through solutions based on global unique numbering and identification systems, barcodes, Electronic Product Code-based RFID, data synchronization, and electronic information exchange—helping organizations identify, capture, and share trusted data that connects their physical and digital supply chains.

What Our Client Needs:

A Senior Program Manager to join the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO). This role is responsible for end-to-end program delivery and portfolio oversight that supports key business and functional initiatives across the organization. The Senior Program Manager will contribute to GS1 US’s ongoing improvement of program management processes, drive accountability across teams, and ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of strategic and operational projects.

Who You Are:

You are a seasoned program leader with a strong track record of delivering complex projects across cross-functional teams. You bring at least 10 years of project or program management experience, preferably with a bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications. You are well-versed in leading within matrixed environments and understand how to manage ambiguity while driving outcomes. You thrive on collaboration, communicate clearly, and are proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.

You bring a team mentality and strong interpersonal skills, along with proven experience in tracking metrics, resolving project challenges, and continuously improving delivery methodologies. A PMP certification and familiarity with GS1 US’s industry or business environment are desirable.

What You’ll Do:

You will manage strategic and functional programs across the GS1 US portfolio through their full lifecycle. You will ensure resource alignment, stakeholder accountability, and project success through active hands-on leadership. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the planning, tracking, and successful execution of assigned programs
  • Managing cross-functional resources and resolving or escalating risks, delays, or conflicts
  • Monitoring progress and creating detailed program plans, resource allocations, and stakeholder updates
  • Providing regular reporting and metrics to senior leadership
  • Ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and strong business engagement across initiatives
  • Driving continuous improvement in project delivery processes
  • Building strong internal relationships and managing communication across all levels
  • Participating in strategic planning, sprint reviews, and broader Agile or portfolio ceremonies
  • Contributing to the maturity and scalability of the EPMO’s methodologies and tools

This position requires up to 5% travel and has no supervisory responsibilities.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or certifications in business or project management (preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience managing large cross-functional projects or programs
  • Demonstrated success leading initiatives on time and within budget
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and risk mitigation skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity
  • Experience influencing without authority in a matrixed environment
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • PMP certification (preferred)

What They Offer:

  • Pay range: $105,000 to $130,000, plus participation in the annual bonus program.
  • A hybrid work environment in their Ewing, NJ office
  • Health (medical, RX, dental, vision) coverage—effective immediately
  • 401(k) with Safe Harbor and Profit Sharing contributions—effective immediately
  • Short- and long-term disability coverage
  • Mental health and wellbeing support (6 employer-sponsored therapy/coaching sessions)
  • Individual wellness platform
  • Paid parental leave
  • Generous PTO and company-paid holidays
  • Access to LinkedIn Learning
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Kudos employee recognition platform
  • Catered lunches twice a week on in-office days
