Afternoon Babysitter for Teen with Autism
We are seeking a compassionate and patient babysitter in Newark, NJ for our 16-year-old son with autism and behavioral challenges. The role primarily involves afternoon supervision, tutoring, and mentoring. We are not seeking a cure but additional support to help him navigate daily challenges. The position involves regular shifts on weekday afternoons, working approximately 3-4 hours per day, Monday to Friday. No feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties are required. There are no pets in the home. Potential room and board may be available while at school on the Rutgers New Brunswick Campus. Responsibilities include providing a safe and supportive environment.
