We are seeking a hands-on Accountant to join our Princeton headquarters, playing a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting process. As an Accountant, you will support the month-end and year-end close processes, manage journal entries, and reconcile accounts in alignment with GAAP standards. This is an in-person role, five days a week, offering the opportunity to work closely with ISMG’s Controller and collaborate cross-functionally with the Finance, Operations, and HR teams. NetSuite experience is a must, as our financial systems and reporting workflows are heavily dependent on the platform. Responsibilities
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring deadlines and compliance standards are met.
- Prepare, post, and maintain accurate journal entries, including accruals, amortizations, and prepaid expenses.
- Conduct detailed general ledger account reconciliations, including bank statements, credit cards, and intercompany balances.
- Assist with the preparation of internal and external financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and proper formatting.
- Collaborate with the Controller to maintain audit-ready documentation, financial schedules, and supporting records.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP and support implementation of accounting best practices.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in day-to-day accounting operations.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to various departments as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 2–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or media environment.
- Proficiency with NetSuite ERP is a must.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and comfort with cloud-based financial systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- The base salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000.
