$26.00 - $30.00 per hour

We're recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join an established food manufacturing company in Mount Royal, NJ.
This is a hands-on role maintaining and repairing food processing equipment, supporting preventative maintenance, equipment reliability and production uptime. Overtime and excellent benefits are available.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose motors, conveyors, variable frequency drives (VFDs) and safety systems
- Assemble and disassemble production equipment for repairs and maintenance
- Support equipment installations, relocations and production line improvements
- Work closely with Production to minimise downtime and improve equipment performance
- Complete maintenance work orders and repair documentation
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and scissor lifts as required
- Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain a safe working environment
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' industrial maintenance experience
- Experience maintaining food processing equipment
- Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Experience with 3-phase, single-phase and 24V electrical systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and parts manuals
- Experience using electrical diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Experience with conveyors, grinders, saws, thermoformers, VFDs or preventative maintenance programs is advantageous
