Sensory Therapeutics is a leading pediatric therapy practice rooted in sensory integration and neuroscience-based approaches. We specialize in treating children and adults with developmental delays, autism, and other special needs. We are excited to expand our interdisciplinary team by adding Physical Therapy services to our existing Occupational Therapy offerings.

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a per diem Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed to making a lasting impact on children’s lives. You will assess and treat children with a wide range of developmental, sensory, and physical challenges—helping them grow in independence, confidence, and functional skills.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify each child’s strengths and areas of need
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals
Deliver evidence-based interventions targeting fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, motor coordination, and self-care abilities
Track and document progress through detailed session notes and billing records
Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to promote carryover into daily life
Maintain clinical excellence in accordance with regulatory and ethical guidelines
Qualifications
Occupational Therapist : Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy and a valid NJ license
Physical Therapist : Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a valid NJ license
At least 1 year of pediatric experience in a clinical or educational setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passionate, patient-centered, and collaborative
Knowledge of sensory integration, developmental delays, rehabilitation principles, and evidence-based practices
Familiarity with a wide range of diagnoses, including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other neurodevelopmental conditions
Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, and reaching
Must pass a background check
