Supervising Account Clerk (Office Manager)

The employee will work under the general direction of the Executive County Superintendent of Schools (ECS) and other state staff. The job specifications (description and knowledge/abilities) are found here. Additionally, since this office is a branch of the New Jersey Department of Education and requires regular contact with school districts, charter schools and approved private schools for students with disabilities (APSSDs), knowledge in the New Jersey administrative codes, laws and statutes that determine the educational stability of students is required. Also, background knowledge in school finance, student transportation and the hierarchical structure of education is preferred.
The employee is expected to work under minimal supervision and instruction.
Additional Duties: General office duties; Manage the County Office staff and oversee their daily work; Arrange, coordinate, and manage calendar appointments; create and maintain state databases and record keeping systems; reference and verify NJSA and NJAC citations; analyze data; prepare and coordinate NJDOE reports; address visitors and facilitate parent complaints.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an Accredited University Preferred*
Experience:
Note: Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
License: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.
