Schedule: Flexible with afternoon availability. Occasional evening babysitting (1-2 date nights/month).

Compensation: $30–35/hour

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who's organized, efficient, and ready to take ownership of a variety of tasks in our busy but fun household. While the job description covers a lot of ground, the heart of this role revolves around three main things: keeping the house running smoothly with a daily reset, prepping meals, and managing key administrative tasks. These are the everyday essentials that will set the tone and rhythm of the role, helping keep everything on track.

But it's not all about routine. There will also be plenty of flexibility and the chance to take on a range of ad hoc tasks that might require a little extra initiative and creativity. The ideal candidate will embrace the variety of these responsibilities without feeling overwhelmed and be able to manage their time effectively in a way that makes everything feel manageable.

Key Responsibilities

Household Organization & Maintenance

  • Maintain and improve household organization systems (closets, storage, pantry, toys)
  • Reset and tidy rooms daily; maintain overall neatness, ensure home is prepped for cleaning services
  • Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areas
  • Oversee household schedules and calendars
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop offs and pick ups
  • Support packing/unpacking for travel or seasonal transitions
  • Supervise or coordinate with service providers/vendors (e.g., handymen, cleaners, landscapers)
  • Maintain indoor plants

Meal Planning & Preparation

  • Plan and prep healthy meals/snacks for adults and kids
  • Plan and prep kids breakfasts and school lunches 5x week
  • Lunch salad prep (3-4x weekly)
  • Prep weekly meals (3-4x weekly)
  • Shop for groceries and meal-related items
  • Follow dietary needs and family preferences (thoughtful produce picker)
  • Clean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen tidiness

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support

  • Help with travel planning, reservations, scheduling, and logistics
  • Manage family calendars and reminders
  • Handle basic ad hoc bill pay and associated reminders; sorting the mail and flagging important items
  • Assist with coordination of appointments and reminders

Inventory Management & Errands

  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, household supplies
  • Create and manage running household supply lists
  • Coordinate and manage household orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.)
  • Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping
  • Handle package pickup, mail sorting, and deliveries

Laundry & Linen Care

  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry (e.g., clothing, bedding, towels)
  • Manage linens: refresh towels, restock essentials
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies
  • Handle special care for delicates or uniforms

Pet Care

  • Feed cats; change food and water
  • Schedule and coordinate vet
  • Administer medications, if required
  • Keep pet supplies stocked and organized
  • Occasional overnight stays with cats

Vendor & Property Oversight

  • Occasionally schedule and supervise service providers (cleaners, contractors, landscapers)
  • Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotes
  • Manage routine upkeep across one properties

Family Support & Child Assistance

  • Assist with school/activity pick-ups or drop-offs
  • Light supervision, playtime, homework help as needed and back-up childcare
  • Help with child-related laundry or errands

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

  • Tackle occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, etc.)
  • Clean humidifiers, and air purifiers monthly
