Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician who will ensure customer satisfaction through accurate diagnostics, repairs, and professional service. This role involves setting personal performance goals, tracking progress, and collaborating with the Service Manager to meet productivity and customer service targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using current technical and administrative tools.
• Deliver courteous and professional customer service in all interactions.
• Assist as a secondary greeter on the Service Drive to welcome waiting customers.
• Stay updated with technical publications, Service Communications, and ASIST system operations.
• Complete vehicle services safely, ethically, and accurately on the first attempt.
• Address original customer concerns before suggesting additional services.
• Inspect vehicles for further service needs based on manufacturer and local guidelines.
• Return vehicles with cleanliness equal to or better than when received.
• Participate in factory and in-house training to maintain skills and certifications.
• Accurately complete repair orders and required documentation with all supporting attachments.
• Perform other duties assigned by Service leadership.
• Maintain punctuality, readiness to work, and a professional appearance at all times.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

• Experience with warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
• Ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and a strong work ethic.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions accurately.
• Sound judgment and effective decision-making skills.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.

Education and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Technical or trade school degree is a plus.
