Our Network Core and Infrastructure Services team is looking for an Edge/Core Security Solutions Engineer to lead a team to develop, test, and certify Layer-2-3-4 security technologies on multiple vendor hardware and software platforms based on customized or generic design.

Key Responsibilities:

• The ability to lead a team of high-powered system/design engineers under aggressive project schedules.
• Identify and define software and hardware problems and develop viable solutions and alternatives.
• Key focus on certifying system/perimeter security. Use system utilities and automation to effectively resolve hardware and software problems.
• Work closely with Hardware and Software vendor(s) to identify and fix bugs and perform detail root cause analysis and bug validation in certification lab environment.
• Provide ongoing support to operation partners, in case of production issue actively collaborate with Operations to replicate the issue in lab and actively get involved and work with vendor to get the fix for production issue.
• Installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, administering, monitoring, and maintaining various Network operating systems, associated software, virtual management systems, servers, networking, clustering, storage, and software applications for Architectures supporting a variety of virtualization technologies.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Security, Informational Technology, Data Communications from an accredited university.

Required Experience:

• IP Routing Protocols Subject Matter Expertise - MPLS, BGP, MP-BGP, BGP-LU, BGP-UC, EVPN, Static, OSPF, ISIS, RSVP, Multicast, Vlan, RIP, FIB, L2/L3-VPNs, SNMP, Telemetry.
• Switching- LAN, VTP, STP, RPVST+, Inter VLAN routing & Multi-Layer Switching, Ether channels, Transparent Bridging
• Networking Technologies - TCP/UDP, VxLAN, VPCs, NAT, DNS, QoS, CoS, BGP, VPLS/VPWS, Ethernet OAM, FlowSpec,DDoS, VRFs, TACACS, BFD, Security, Netflow, TWAMP, Route-reflectors, Route groups, Hub and Spoke. Firewalls, ACLs, SSH, TACACS
• Multivendor Platforms Expertise but not limited to - Cisco IOS and IOS-XR platforms, Cisco CRS, Cisco ASR 9000 series platforms, Juniper MX, T-Series Platforms including JunOS. RAD/RADview, Ciena SAOS/NOS, Arista Network Switches 7K, Ufi, DriveNets NOS.
• Candidate with Scripting experience using Python/Shell/TCL/ Perl / Selenium automation and hands on work experience in configuring Keysiight IXIA, Spirent, ANUE, JDSU test equipment.

Our Principal Members of Technical Staff earn between $180,200.00 - $270,400.00 USD, annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
