Responsibilities

MJA is seeking an growth-driven Proposal Manager to support the firm’s proposal efforts across several states. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with identifying procurement opportunities and project partners, and facilitating the go/no-go process
• Support the marketing team with attendance at pre-proposal meetings for procurement opportunities
• Manage proposal deadlines, submissions, and win/loss records
• Prepare proposal submission materials
• Maintain the company’s social media presence, website, and newsletter
• Coordinate with the firm's existing proposal/marketing team

This is a hybrid position that requires an in-office presence but also allows opportunities to work from home. The candidate must live in the New Jersey/NYC area and be present in our NJ (Monmouth County) and NYC (downtown) offices as needed. Work from home opportunities are available when in-office presence is not required. Work location will be dependent on current workloads and meeting schedules.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
• 2-5 years supporting business development and marketing efforts in the A/E/C industry
• Understanding of the A/E/C industry and public-sector procurement, preferably from a subcontractor perspective
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines independently
• Experience compiling proposals within the A/E/C industry and responding to proposal requests from prime firms
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Dropbox
• Experience in graphic design (InDesign)
• Experience developing social media content
