Level A Service Technician
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level A Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and routine maintenance on customer vehicles/equipment. The ideal candidate has expert-level technical knowledge, takes pride in high-quality workmanship, and can mentor junior technicians when needed. Key Responsibilities: * Perform accurate diagnostics and advanced repairs on a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems * Conduct quality inspections to ensure completed repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards * Perform preventive maintenance and service procedures * Use diagnostic tools and factory service information systems efficiently * Document all work performed clearly and thoroughly * Stay current with new technology, tools, and repair procedures through training and certification programs * Collaborate with service advisors and parts department to ensure timely and efficient repairs * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to B- and C-level technicians * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols Requirements: * High School diploma or equivalent (ASE certifications or technical training preferred) * Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in service/repair environment * Master ASE Certification or manufacturer certification (preferred but not required) * Strong diagnostic skills and ability to solve complex technical issues * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions (standing, kneeling, etc.) * Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills * Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Benefits: * Competitive hourly wage (based on experience and certification) * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off and holidays * Ongoing training and certification opportunities
