About the Role

We are a growing company covering Monmouth & Ocean Counties, currently seeking dedicated, dependable hardscape & landscape crew members to join our team. A landscape crew member will work under the supervision of a crew leader to complete residential and commercial projects including paver patios, walkways, firepits, steps, retaining walls, driveways, plazas, parking lots and more. Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as excavator, skid steer, compactor, partner saw, etc.

• Assist with installing paver patios, bricks, natural stone walls, walkways, and firepits

• Install irrigation and lighting systems

• Clean up job sites

• Keep trucks and equipment clean and in working order

• Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”)

• Interact with homeowners, property guests, clients, and the public in a friendly and polite manner

Requirements

• Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record

• Availability to work variable hours which may include weekends, holidays and overtime

• Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• 17 years of age or older

• Reliable transportation to the branch or first job site

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds & walk long distances

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test

• Experience in masonry work, flat work, pavers, retaining walls, etc. desired, but not required

Work Schedule

• You’ll work Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts (with overtime in the peak season), starting between 6:00 and 7:00 am depending on the season. Your workday is finished when the route is complete, which is around 8-10 hours, but this can vary.
