Accounting Assistant | Temp-to-Hire
Parsippany Troy Hills, NJ area | Fully on-site
Monday - Thursday | 9:00am to 5:00pm and Friday | 9:00am to 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing and payment tracking
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including invoice processing and vendor payments
- Perform check scanning and processing
- Prepare and maintain collections reports
- Follow up on outstanding balances and support collections efforts, communicate with sales team
- Utilize Excel (including Pivot Tables) for reporting and data analysis
- Assist with general accounting tasks and support the finance team as needed
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in AR/AP or general accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, especially for collections follow-up
