Customer Service Representative - Bilingual in Chinese
Summary:
The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support. This position serves as the primary point of contact for inquiries, complaints, and assistance, ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships. The Customer Service Representative will handle various communication channels, including phone, email, and live chat, promptly addressing customer needs and resolving issues effectively. Additionally, they will accurately process orders, track shipments, and maintain accurate customer records. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, exhibit empathy, and have a genuine passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests through various channels, ensuring timely resolution and accurate updates.
- Handle a high volume of customer interactions by processing orders, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Assist customers with inquiries, recommendations, and troubleshooting, collaborating with internal teams for a seamless experience.
- Resolve complaints by investigating problems, escalating when necessary, and providing appropriate solutions according to company policies.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of products, services, and policies to identify opportunities for improvement in customer service operations.
- Demonstrate good attendance, record customer interactions accurately, and promptly respond to calls and emails with product information and updates.
- Promote increased sales and stocking capacity for customers, expedite samples to influence sales, and handle incoming requests professionally.
- Interact respectfully with employees from other departments, review and verify purchase orders, and proactively contact customers when needed.
- Monitor and organize tasks efficiently by emails, priority orders, and running regular reports to track high-priority orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in accounting, sales, marketing, or production.
- Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM with prior office experience.
- Bilingual in English / Chinese is a plus.
- Positive work ethic for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with email, internet, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Knowledge of purchase orders and warehousing principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve complex situations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Compensation:
The pay range for this job is $20 / Hr. - $23 / Hr. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
