Front Desk Receptionist

Nestled on 26 acres in Saddle River, NJ, the Villa offers a team of specialists focusing on pain and symptom management, ensuring patients experience dignity and comfort during this chapter of life. Patients enjoy private rooms with a bath and a view of the grounds, free from burdensome symptoms, allowing them time with loved ones. The Villa’s family-focused philosophy invites participation from the patient’s support system, including pets, and offers overnight accommodations for family members.
A Brief Overview:
Coordinates functioning of the front desk for Villa Marie Claire, initiates and completes various administrative and clerical tasks relevant to the day to day functions of Villa Marie Claire.
What you will do:
- Exemplifies “excellence is me” in all interactions with patients, co-workers and Villa Marie Claire Staff.
- Effectively communicates any problems and concerns to Management in a timely matter.
- Acts as a liaison between the front desk of each department.
- Ensures a welcoming patient care environment and a positive patient experience.
- Oversees proper scheduling including timeliness of evaluations and follow-ups, consistency of care and accuracy of appointments.
- Answers phones in a friendly and courteous manner, records and distributes messages. Assist in the timely response to messages.
- Manages voicemails and respond to phone calls received in a timely manner.
- Receive and direct visitors to their appropriate area.
- Offers assistance and provides direction to visitors, patients, physicians, and families in a concise, informative manner, keeping a courteous and positive tone.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of stationery and other clerical supplies.
- Fax, copy mailing as requested.
- Maintains professional appearance, adheres to department and hospital dress code.
- Assists in additional functions and duties as necessary.
Education Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer skills required. Excellent customer service and telephone answering skills required.

Expected hours: 40 per week.
Schedule:- Evening shift (3 pm - 11:30 pm).
