Stock Worker and Receiver

Stock Worker and Receiver Location Saint Paul, MN (Summit-University area) :

As a Stock Worker and Receiver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring accurate inventory management. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials, as well as organizing and replenishing stock to meet the demands of our business.

Responsibilities:

Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the delivered products against purchase orders.Inspect items for damages or defects and report discrepancies to the appropriate parties.Record and document received goods in an organized manner.

Inventory Management: Organize and maintain the warehouse to optimize space and facilitate efficient stock retrieval.Perform regular cycle counts and participate in periodic physical inventory audits.Monitor stock levels and initiate reorder requests as needed.

Stock Organization and Retrieval: Organize and label stock items for easy identification and retrieval.Prepare and package products for outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Collaborate with other departments to fulfill internal stock requests.

Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all stock transactions and movements.Generate and update reports related to inventory levels, stock discrepancies, and order fulfillment.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.Comply with company policies and procedures related to inventory control and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a similar stock handling or receiving role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Proficient computer skills for data entry and inventory management software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
