As the Customer Logistics Analyst, you'll ensure customer orders are received and processed in a timely manner. In this role, you'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, while being a key contributor towards maximizing logistics efficiency of customer shipments.
The Customer Logistics Analyst will report into the Channel Manager. This role is based in our North American Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ.
Main Responsibilities:
The Customer Logistics Analyst will be responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with our customers by answering questions, solving problems and addressing and escalating issues as needed.
The ideal candidate will be able to anticipate potential issues and facilitate their resolution. This will require strong communication skills to gather and disseminate pertinent information both within and outside of the organization including:
- Execute the complete order to cash processing cycle from order receipt to confirmed delivery and billing
- Maximize on-time shipping, delivery, and fill-rates
- Process orders using SAP Order Management
- Manage returns, credit, and claims processing
- Minimize OS&Ds and Customer Claims due to non-compliance
- Align with key customers and internal stakeholders to review performance and cost to serve issues impacting key Supply Chain Delivery KPIs.
- Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Create order to cash applicable reports and conduct analysis
- Liaison with internal and external EDI teams as needed
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in business field, preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Customer Logistics within Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), preferably Food & Beverage space
- Problem solving and analytical skills required
- Ability to mulitask and set priorities
- Effective communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation
- Interpersonal skills, including relationship-building, strategic influencing
- Solid understanding of Transportation, Warehousing, and Supply Chain best practices
- Strong SAP order to cash transaction and report tools preferred
- Intermediate - advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience with EDI and VMI a plus
