Job Summary:


System One is seeking a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in the life insurance industry for a long-term opportunity in Summit, NJ. This position will focus on gathering, analyzing, and translating business and data requirements to support system enhancements, integrations, and operational processes specific to life insurance products and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and data requirements from stakeholders within life insurance operations
• Translate business needs into functional specifications aligned to life insurance systems and processes
• Support data mapping, transformation, and system integration efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, operations, and business stakeholders
• Participate in daily team standups and ongoing project discussions
• Contribute to onboarding new entities and workflows onto internal platforms

Requirements

• 1–5+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Strong knowledge of the life insurance industry
• Understanding of life insurance products, processes, or data (e.g., policy lifecycle, claims, or related areas)
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
