$120,000 – $150,000 + Bonuses
Permanent mechanical engineering role supporting design and validation of engineered-to-order industrial process equipment used in energy and industrial facilities. Execution-focused work designing cooling systems, heat-rejection circuits, and flow paths through fabrication, testing, and field validation. Own cooling and flow performance for custom equipment operating under pressure, vibration, and duty-cycle constraints.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional, practical mechanical or process equipment design experience in power generation, energy, or industrial equipment manufacturing; research-only experience not applicable.
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering. Hands-on, practical experience designing and sizing heat exchangers, pumps, control valves, rotating equipment, vacuum systems, ejectors, and piping.
- Strong applied knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and hydraulics.
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Excel-based solvers, and internal sizing tools. Working knowledge of CFD for flow and heat-rejection analysis using ANSYS, Fluent, CFX, COMSOL, or equivalent. Familiarity with ASME codes and industrial equipment standards.
