Social Worker (MSW) Per Diem, Newton Medical Center, NJ

Job Description

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Social Worker (MSW) for Case Management at Newton Medical Center to work 8AM-4:30PM including one weekend every four weeks.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Discharge planning from an acute care hospital.
• Supportive and therapeutic counseling

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• MSW and Active LSW from NJ

Minimum Experience:

• 1-year medical setting (acute care hospital) or 1 year externship would be considered.

Candidates must be available to commit to 2-3 days per week during the first 4-6 weeks to ensure a thorough onboarding process. This role also requires working every other weekend. Departmental hours are 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with some flexibility. As a seven-day-a-week department, per diem positions do include weekend coverage
