• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse / Perioperative Nurse (OR RN)
• Setting: Operating Room (OR) — Surgical RN role
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Duration: 13-week contract
• On Call: One weekend per month (24 hours Saturday, 12 hours Sunday)
• Scrubs: Provided by hospital
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• Hourly Pay Rate: $93.93/hour
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2520–$2650

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years recent clinical experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) performing both scrub and circulate roles
• 3+ years experience in Orthopedic Spine, Robotic Surgery (including Da Vinci), and Trauma cases—experience as a Surgical RN or Perioperative Nurse preferred
• Current RN licensure in the State of New Jersey (required)
• American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
• American Heart Association ACLS certification (required)
• National certification in specialty area (e.g., CNOR) preferred
• Availability to complete full orientation as scheduled (no rescheduling permitted)

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures with emphasis on Orthopedic Spine, Robotics, and Trauma
• Operate and assist with the Da Vinci robotic surgical system and other advanced OR technology
• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled and respond to emergency surgical needs
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, sterile technique, and mandatory orientation requirements
