Includes $3.00/hour Differential for Friday, Saturday and Sunday Shifts

Metro Ambulance is hiring EMTs for our high-demand mid shift starting at 12:00 PM . This shift operates during peak system volume and plays a critical role in maintaining response reliability and patient throughput.

We offer structured flexibility — choose 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday through Saturday — allowing you to align your schedule with personal and professional goals. If you prefer active daytime/early evening hours and want to avoid early mornings and overnights, this schedule delivers both balance and field exposure.

Compensation & Earning Potential

• Competitive base hourly rate (based on experience)

• Additional $3.00/hour differential for all Friday and Saturday hours worked

• Overtime eligibility in accordance with policy

• Opportunities for additional shifts based on availability

Friday and Saturday shifts offer increased earning potential while working high-volume, high-engagement operational periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality BLS patient care

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and accurate documentation

• Safely operate company vehicles

• Maintain clinical readiness of equipment and ambulance

• Represent Metro Ambulance with professionalism and integrity

Mid-shift EMTs are essential to sustaining performance during peak call demand.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current NJ EMT certification (or applicable state)

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Professional reliability and accountability

Preferred:

• 1+ year field experience

• EVOC certification

• Experience in a high-volume EMS system
