Patient Navigator | Full time
Paramus, NJ area | Fully On-site
Monday - Friday | 9:30am - 6:00pm
Our client is seeking a Patient Navigator to register patients and calculate co-payment and insurance amounts, and serving as a liaison between patients, providers, and insurance carriers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, appointments, and required documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system
- Collaborate with providers, specialists, and insurance representatives to ensure timely patient care
- Address patient questions and provide ongoing support
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a medical office, healthcare, patient services, or customer service role
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
