The successful candidate will be responsible for Helping transform our training function by living the creators code and delivering the modern luxury vision and new purpose for JLRNA retailers, as part of our Training Department based at our corporate headquarters in Mahwah, NJ, and reporting to the Client Experience Training Manager. This role is responsible for the planning, development, and creation of JLR North America's Client Experience and Product training content for retailers in the US and Canada. In addition, the position is responsible for the digital transformation of JLRNA's training content and delivery, localization of globally developed training content, creation of North American specific training, and periodic reviews and updates of existing training content. The position is also responsible for managing the training delivery and development vendors, digital platforms, and coordinating with internal JLRNA and global stakeholders to develop training content and strategies. What you will be doing:- Planning, leading, or delivering productionn, development, or localization of training assets and other retailerfacing material to support JLRNA retailer training which includes working with JLRNA's training partner on the creation, modification, updating, or localization of all non-technical training content.
- Product training:
- Innovating and creating ideas to improve Client & Product training to align to the modern luxury vision
- Reviewing and localizing all product training assets for local product accuracy
- Working with JLRNA's training partner to develop and produce North American specific product training content
- Liaising with the Training Program Lead with training content development for launch training events and programs
- Liaising with Product Planning, Marketing, Tech Services and the Global training team in the UK on development of appropriate assets (videos, walk around guides, handover guides, Did You Know, quick reference guides, etc.) to ensure retail staff clearly understand how to operate the features of, sell, and deliver our vehicles;
- Ensuring all new features or technology considered "difficult to understand" are included in annual training planning and for budget purposes;
- Coordinating timely deployment of assets in line with vehicle launches and product schedules
- Training strategy and planning: help lead the creation of the training goals, asset delivery plan and methods, training platforms, program logistics, measurement, and finances of the JLRNA training program
- Communicating with vendors; process Purchase Orders and invoices for Training content development and delivery.
- Supporting of other JLRNA training activities as required.
- Perform other duties as required
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience;
- 5 + years Experience with Training / OEM / Industry
- 3+ years f0f facilitate and learn appropriate content and leverage appropriate experts
- Advance MS Office skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, and must be comfortable presenting to all levels of management;
- Must have strong business acumen, and the ability to work with people at varying levels with the organization and network;
