Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager to lead a net-new initiative focused on developing a life and annuity agent portal — a secure, digital platform that enables life insurance agents to access rating tools, policy documents, dashboards and more. This hybrid role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and deep knowledge of the life and annuity domain.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the life and annuity agent portal project.
Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams and external vendors.
Present project status updates, risks and recommendations to senior leadership.
Ensure the final product aligns with user needs, compliance requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience within the life and annuity insurance industry
Strong knowledge of agency management platforms such as Smart Office and iPipeline (especially Agency Integrator)
Proven track record of leading or contributing to digital product development or portal builds
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with both executive and technical audiences
Highly proactive, resourceful, and skilled in gathering information and negotiating with external partners (e.g., carriers)
Technically proficient — understands portal architecture, authentication flows and digital workflow design
Pay Range:
The anticipated pay for this position is $60.00 per hour. We understand salary is an important factor in a job search, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel that your desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
