Industrial Painter
Description:
Production spray operations, involving liquid painting of manufactured products requiring custom finishes, requiring five or more years of training or experience, or equivalent.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Mixes paint, lacquer, and enamel to specified color, consistency, and viscosity.
- Prepares surfaces and applies a variety of coatings with spray gun to obtain high-grade finish coat or special types of finishes.
Required Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Able to work independently
- Basic computer skills required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position or role
- Salary commensurate with skills and experience
Preferred:
- Experience using overhead and jib cranes
- Experience with lift machinery such as forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift
- Experience with abrasive blasting
