CNC Operator/Machinist (Tool & Die Maker) - $33-34.35/hr.

We’re looking for a skilled Tool and Die Maker to perform complex maintenance and fabrication work. This role requires strong machining skills, hands-on experience with steel fabrication, and the ability to build, repair, and maintain dies, tools, and parts with precision.

Shifts Needed:

• 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri, 2:00pm–10:00pm
• 3rd Shift: Sun–Thurs, 10:00pm–6:00am

Pay Rate: $33-34.25/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, repair, and modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other CNC/manual equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Perform grinding, polishing, and fitting of parts for proper assembly.
• Select appropriate metals and materials for fabrication.
• Conduct test runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow company procedures.
• Train apprentices and share technical knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

• Prior tool & die or machinist experience.
• Strong background in steel fabrication and machining of blocks/parts.
• Experience with grinding and lathe operations.
• Ability to visualize, plan, and execute machining operations.
• Physical exam required.
