As a Security Officer Screening Representative in East Brunswick, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and deliveries, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, communicate clearly, and deliver strong customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to shipping, receiving, dock, trailer, and other high-traffic areas where working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or designated screening points to help support authorized access, help to deter policy violations, and provide clear directions to staff, visitors, and delivery personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
