Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: On-site - Wall Township, NJ
Salary Range: $110K - $135K (DOE) + Bonus

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership across the design, development, and execution of electrical engineering projects. This role combines hands on electrical engineering expertise with strong project management responsibility. The position works closely with cross functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with technical and business requirements. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning electrical design decisions while managing schedules, priorities, risks, and stakeholder coordination throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical circuits and systems based on project requirements
• Serve as a technical resource, providing guidance on electronics and electrical engineering principles
• Interpret customer specifications and translate them into practical, executable engineering solutions
• Design and refine electrical systems and circuit boards for customer applications, lab evaluations, and product demonstrations
• Evaluate and optimize basic RF circuits to ensure reliable and consistent performance
• Oversee PCB layout activities and perform design reviews for customer designs and test configurations
• Review and analyze test data and clearly communicate findings, risks, and recommendations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into larger systems
• Investigate complex technical challenges and develop effective, well reasoned solutions
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends within electrical engineering
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and project deliverables

Project management responsibilities:

• Lead electrical engineering efforts across multiple projects, managing technical scope, priorities, and timelines
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones and deliverables are met
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and external partners to align technical execution with project goals
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support project planning activities, including scope definition, effort estimation, and resource coordination
• Contribute to contract documentation by defining technical requirements, deliverables, and acceptance criteria

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in circuit/system design or product applications.

- Proven experience managing engineering projects from initial scope through final delivery

- Ability to develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Proficiency in testing circuits and systems, including automated test development.
- Experience with test software and GUI development (Python, Java, or similar).

- Strong experience coordinating work across cross functional teams - engineering, manufacturing, and customers
- Familiarity with embedded programming (MicroPython, Arduino, etc.).
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret technical literature and apply findings to real-world challenges.
- Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and basic statistics.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
