Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry

Location: Neptune, New Jersey, 07754

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12s | Every Other Weekend Required | 3 of 6 Holidays Required | No On-Call

Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry to provide exceptional patient care within a collaborative acute care environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, patient advocacy, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced medical-surgical/telemetry setting.

• Plan, implement, and document nursing care according to patient needs and clinical standards.

• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes for assigned patients.

• Initiate and coordinate individualized patient care based on diagnoses and nursing frameworks.

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and monitor patient responses.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with hospital policies.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, efficient, and high-quality care.

• Support continuous improvement and evidence-based clinical practices.

• Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 recent years of relevant Med Surg/Telemetry experience (required).

• Licensure: Active New Jersey RN License or Compact Multistate RN License (required).

• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association – required prior to start)

  • NIHSS Certification

  • Telemetry Certification

  • CEU Stroke Education (minimum 4 contact hours)
