Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Maywood, NJ 07607. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Specific Duties:
- Performed patient rooming, vitals collection, and comprehensive patient assessments.
- As a CMA, you will provide direct and indirect patient care through clinical and telephone interactions, following established standards, policies, and clinical protocols.
- You will collaborate closely with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Conducted basic laboratory testing and assisted with clinical diagnostic procedures.
- Drew blood and managed specimen handling according to clinical standards.
- Completed clinical reports, documentation, and daily operational logs.
- Processed medication refills and handled provider-assigned clinical tasks.
- Answered multi-line phones, provided patient support, and coordinated appointment needs.
- Assisted with front office coverage, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of preferred experience
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
Additional Information:
- Location: Maywood, NJ 07607
- Job Type: 3+ months contract to Hire
- Schedule: - Monday through Friday and every other Saturday
- Office Hours: Monday -Friday 8 am-5 pm
- Pay Range: $20-23/hrs. on W2 without benefits
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
