Position Overview
We are seeking a School-Based Mental Health Professional to provide counseling, assessments, and behavioral support to students in an educational setting. This role focuses on improving students’ emotional well-being, behavior, and academic success through direct care and collaboration with school staff and families.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (school hours)
• No weekends or major holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling.
• Conduct mental health assessments and screenings.
• Develop and implement intervention plans.
• Support students with behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
• Provide referrals to external resources as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Active state license (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred.
• School certification (if required).
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
• Strong communication, crisis intervention, and collaboration skills.
• Cultural competency and organizational skills.
