We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to manage and enhance our inventory system, develop and maintain Python-based software, and provide IT support for our staging company's operational needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, database management, and IT infrastructure while ensuring seamless technology operations within our organization.
Inventory System Management
Develop, implement, and maintain an inventory management system for tracking staging assets, furniture, and décor.
Automate inventory tracking, barcode scanning, and reporting to optimize warehouse efficiency.
Ensure data accuracy, security, and integration with other business tools.
Python Software Development
Develop and maintain custom Python applications to support business operations, including inventory, logistics, and workflow automation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand process inefficiencies and create tech-driven solutions.
Maintain databases, APIs, and cloud-based integrations for data management.
IT Support & Infrastructure
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues across the company.
Manage system updates, backups, cybersecurity measures, and t roubleshooting.
Maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, cloud services, and communication tools.
Support employees with software training and troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in Python for software development and automation.
Experience with inventory management systems or ERP platforms.
Knowledge of database management (SQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL).
Familiarity with networking, cybersecurity, and cloud-based services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical support issues .
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in warehouse or staging industry software solutions.
- Familiarity with barcode/RFID inventory tracking systems.
- Knowledge of Django, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
- Exposure to automation tools (Power Automate, Zapier, etc.)
