Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM's Water Business Line** is seeking a talented **Senior Water-Wastewater Engineer** with a passion for water, wastewater conveyance, treatment plant evaluation, design, and construction.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an established career serving as a client-facing project manager on regional and municipal water and wastewater treatmentprojects. This position offers a unique opportunity to immediately contribute to an established and successful water practice in the **Greater Philadelphia Area (Philadelphia, PA, Conshohocken, PA or Newark, DE)** working on a diverse range of technically challenging water projects.   **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Provide technical leadership on complex civil design projects from the planning through permitting and construction phases. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff. + Work with mid-level staff and lead multi-discipline project design teams virtually and locally. + Interface with client and regulatory agencies. + Manage civil and stormwater design and resiliency projects. + Coordinate projects with civil design and modeling teams. + Design pipe conveyance and modeling of collection systems. + Develop and review design and construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates. + Oversee and prepare engineering reports and documentation. + Prepare engineering services proposals, fee estimates, and schedules. + Stay current on industry trends and advancements in design and engineering. + The selected candidate must be available to work in Philadelphia, PA, Conshohocken, PA or Newark, DE office on a scheduled basis. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education with an emphasis in water, wastewater, or another related field. + **Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in PA, NJ, DE** or ability to obtain within 6 months. + Valid U.S. Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review. **Preferred Qualifications** + 10+ years of extensive project experience in municipal water, wastewater, and/or stormwater design, analysis, installation, inspection, and management in design within dense urban settings. + Strong knowledge of water/wastewater/stormwater design codes, standards, and regulations. + Strong communication skills in coordinating with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public to accomplish assigned objectives. + Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work well in a team environment. + Make decisions independently on engineering problems and methods. + Experienced technical writer. + Demonstrated experience developing engineering deliverables such as engineering reports, design drawings, technical specifications, and other detailed engineering deliverables. + Proven and demonstrated experience working on storm water, water, wastewater, or flood protection/resilience projects. **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Sponsorship for US Employment Authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
