We are seeking a professional and highly motivated Insurance Agency Bookkeeper to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining accounting, computer, and financial records. The ideal candidate has comprehensive experience in all accounting processes. If you are detail-oriented with a proven track record of exceptional accounting skills, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities
- Accurately record all transactions in the accounting cycle
- Prepare financial statements
- Reconcile bank and commission statements
- Follow accounting best practices at all times
- Answer client inquiries
- Bachelors degree in accounting preferred or relevant experience
- Previous experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Understanding of the accounting cycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
