Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience assisting attorneys with corporate and business litigation, with a strong preference to work collaboratively as a “business partner” and not just an admin. As a Litigation Paralegal at Firm X, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, collaborate with talented colleagues, and make a meaningful impact on our clients’ legal needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
- Must have experience filing within electronic court systems
- Must understand basic litigation lingo and importance of keeping organized and proper files:
- Paralegal should have experience drafting notices & subpoenas, drafting responses to discovery
- Accurate review of all notices received/motions that come in, accurate follow-up on all tasks
- Management of trial calendars, helping to keep attorneys on deadline
- Accurate and thorough document management and retention
- Efficient prioritization of tasks when working with multiple attorneys and administrative support personnel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, Legal Studies, or related field
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program – preferred but not required
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Minimum of 4 years of Paralegal experience at a reputable law firm.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
